Greyshoes – American Indian Sculptor

Greyshoes, American Indian Sculptor, is a documentary about Upton Ethelbah Jr. aka “Greyshoes“, that follows the creation of an Apache Crown Dancer sculpture, from a 300 pound block of Portuguese marble, to a blue ribbon winning stone masterpiece.

Scheduled Release: 2011

Filmed by New Mexico Digital, this documentary is deeply tied to Greyshoes’ roots,
from the White Mountain Apache tribe (Dago TeWiki ) in Arizona,
to the Santa Clara Pueblo tribe (Kha’p’oo OwingeWiki ) near Española, in northern NM.

Featuring the music of Daffodil and BundoBeats, as well as traditional songs.
